The Kindness-Forgiveness Connection // Ephesians 4:32

I love how today’s verse shows the connection between kindness and forgiveness. This strikes me in terms of holding grudges. All too often we think as though forgiveness is a gift we give to someone else when in reality it is a gift we give self. Forgiveness is about freeing self of the burden of carrying the weight of a grudge. And how true that is since those burdens only get heavier with time. So how do you need to experience the kindness-forgiveness connection? with whom can you share that gift, knowing first it must begin with you?
