The Forever Rock // Isaiah 26:4

I hope you are able to trust in God forever and not just in the moments when you think you need Him. I can be guilty of that, no doubt. Part of our human condition is we tend to think we are the source of all that’s good in our lives, then we get discombobulated when things don’t go according to plan. This is why Isaiah relayed that we are to trust in God forever! God’s goodness and power is not bound by conditional circumstances. This is why we must trust in Him not just when we need help, but also when we sense all is going well. That way, when the troubles do come, we aren’t left scrambling or reaching for the security of the Rock, because we never left it in the first place.
