Nothing // Romans 8:38-39

Today’s verse is one beloved by many. The bottom line is nothing can separate you from the love of God in Christ Jesus. When Jesus declared, “It is Finished!” from the cross, He sealed the deal. The battle against evil was won. The penalty for sin was paid. God’s wrath exhausted. Now, all we must do is accept God’s offer of forgiveness, believe in Jesus as God’s One and Only Son raised from the dead, and commit to live for Him. This doesn’t mean that we won’t face any hardships or tragedies in life, but what it does mean is we don’t face them alone. Plus, whatever comes our way, nothing can separate us from the love God has for us in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
