Never Forget God is Good! // Psalm 103:2
Today’s verse is a personal call to remember God and to never forget the good things He does. I have found it necessary of late to take an inventory and remember some of the ways God showed up and out in my life. There are plenty of times, so I sit and scratch my head as to why it’s so easy to get spun-up in the drama of life. When I encounter spiritual mountain tops, it feels as though I’ll never suffer through a valley ever again. Wow, I wish that were true. The reality is God gives us those mountain top moments to bolster our faith help keep us close in the times we might feel inclined to fall away. If you read further into Psalm 103, you will notice King David references the fact we will experience difficulties like death and disease. If you’re going through a spiritual drought or valley, I want to press upon you the importance of today’s verse. Remember what God has done for you. Remember God promises to work out all things for you to the good. Yes, we also must remember the everything isn’t good, but thanks to Jesus, the end result will be. Trust God. Remember how He has been with you and is still. Then boldly live into your future with the assurance God is for you!
