Love 1 // 1 Corinthians 13:4

We are going to take a few days to look at 1 Corinthians 13, also known as the love chapter. It’s a beautiful passage read in many weddings. It was read in mine and I read it in most I officiate. We see that in today’s section from verse 4 that is patient and kind while not being envious, boastful, arrogant or rude. Does that describe you? It does describe God, though, since the Bible teaches God is love! Therefore, these are virtues we are called to live into in order to be more like Jesus. We will take a close look at this over the next couple days. In the meantime, think about your own patience, kindness, envy, boasting, and arrogance. Embrace the best and resist the worst.
