Worry to Worship // Philippians 4:4

Yesterday we looked at how the seeds of faith are often watered by our tears. Today, we see a wonderful verse from one of my favorite sections in Scripture. The Apostle Paul wrote that we are to rejoice, because the Lord is near. That is followed up with teaching about how to handle anxiety and life’s troubles: turn worry into worship! There is no doubt we have enough over which to worry, but it all pales in comparison to the presence and power of God. I forget where I read or heard this nugget, but I share it with you all the same: stop talking to God about how big your problems are and start talking to your problems about how BIG your God is! Then, you will find that peace settling you down, transcending understanding, and guarding your fragile soul in Christ Jesus. Dear Lord, let it be.
