Wholehearted Commitment // Jeremiah 29:13

We often seek God halfheartedly in those passing moments between tasks, during trouble, or when we otherwise feel empty. Seeking God only when we’re desperate or have nothing better to do might work in a pinch, but wholehearted seeking calls for more than convenience; it calls for commitment. God isn’t hiding from us; He’s inviting us into deeper pursuit. To seek Him with our whole heart means aligning our desires, priorities, and time around knowing Him. When our hearts are divided (did you know that’s the biblical meaning of our word, worry?), we catch only glimpses; but when we seek Him completely, we discover that He has been drawing us close all along. The reward of wholehearted seeking isn’t just answers, it’s intimacy with the One who made our hearts in the first place. God wants your whole heart, so don’t seek Him halfheartedly!
