I think this is the most famous and oft-quoted verse in the Bible. Christianity is often knocked as being exclusive because of how it points to Jesus apart from any other religion or religious leader. Friends, exclusivity couldn’t be any farther from the truth! Please note how the verse states, whoever. This means that every single person has access to salvation through Jesus. You have the exact same access to God as any other person in the world, despite where you’ve been or where you are right now. And that isn’t just physically…the same is true spiritually. God promises to forgive your sins, forget your sins, and cover you with Jesus to cleanse and clothe you forever. Could anything be more inclusive!? So hear that promise: you can come to Jesus regardless of wherever you’ve been and/or wherever you are. Find that gift of hope in eternal life. Thanks to Jesus, it is yours.
