Where is the ‘C’? // 1 John 4:18

I had a revelation the other day. The two words, scared and sacred, have the same six letters and are spelled almost identically, but mean two completely different things. To be scared is to be overcome with fear. To be sacred is to be dedicated to God. The primary difference between scared and sacred for the faithful is the location of the letter, c. For me, I think about the letter c in this case representing Christ; therefore, if Jesus Christ is at your center, He can expel any fear you might feel from anything frightening you will face. So, are you feeling overwhelmed today? Trust God knows and center yourself in the Lord’s love. Move Christ to your center and see what He does with the scary things.
