Vulnerabilities to Victories // Psalm 139:23

Today’s verse opens up a spot of vulnerability for us. King David, who wrote Psalm 139, was inviting God to search and inspect his inner world. This is advice we should all follow. Yes, it will reveal those areas where we are vulnerable, but those prove to be the areas we need to surrender to God first. In our sin, there is forgiveness. When we expect judgment, God offers mercy. The Lord’s grace redeems and restores us, helping turn our vulnerabilities into opportunities for victory as we use them to point others to God.
