Uncommonly Bold // Acts 4:12
Today’s verse comes from the section in Acts 4 where Peter and John were arrested and questions by the religious high council. Luke (who wrote Acts) said that the two were filled with the Holy Spirit and preached about salvation in no one other than Christ. Their boldness blew away the council leaders because they knew the disciples were just ordinary men. They were uncommonly bold and their conviction made them amazingly clear. That, my friends, is the work of the Holy Spirit! The Spirit emboldens and empowers God’s children to be more than just ordinary, but extraordinary! When have you experienced God giving you an uncommon boldness and clarity? He will if you lean into His leadership and allow God to lead, guide, and direct your life.
