Trust in a Name? // Psalm 20:7
Psalm 20:7 (NIV) | Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
Yesterday we explored trusting in what we cannot see. Today we see that the Bible teaches us to trust in a name. There is a lot in a name, isn’t there? God’s most frequently used names mean that God exists, God provides, and God saves. In fact, Jesus’ name is the Greek transliteration of Yeshua, again which means God saves. When we’re inclined to trust in things we can touch, taste, hear, smell, or see, remember God is the One who exists, provides, and saves!
