The Lord’s Perspective and Power // Philippians 3:10-11

Today’s verse might not be one that gives warm and fuzzy feelings. The Apostle Paul really said he wanted to suffer with Jesus. Wow, that’s quite a statement, isn’t it? Would you be so bold as to say you want to suffer? Paul knew that when he suffered like Jesus, he was sharing in the sacrificial power of Jesus that led to His resurrection. No one likes suffering, but Jesus proves there is purpose in the pain. So, instead of trying to avoid suffering, realize it’s all part of our life with the Lord. Seek God’s perspective and power in your hardest times, and in so doing, find the life God has in store for you right now!
