The Lord is Close // Psalms 34:18

I remember when this verve became real to me. I just received some devastating news and all I could do was go into our closet to cry. I turned to my Bible after wailing for a few and discovered today’s verse anew: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I pray that you will remember and pray this verse if you are enduring hell on earth right now. Suffering can cause us to feel isolated and withdraw so we are alone. Resist that temptation and turn to our Lord. You will find Him as close as your very next breath when you do.
