The Great Physician // Psalm 103:1&3

Today we take a moment to show appreciation for our doctors and medical professionals who devote their lives to the health and healing of their patients. Jesus is frequently referred to as the Great Physician, because He is known to heal people spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically. Psalm 103:1&3 foreshadowed Jesus’ ministry as a holy holistic healer: “Praise the Lord, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name…who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases…” I hope you will take some time today to offer gratitude to those who devote themselves so fully to your wellbeing, knowing no one cares more than your Great Physician. Jesus is the One who forgives your sins and heals all your diseases; particularly, the sin problem that infects and affects us all.
