The Big Picture // Romans 8:28

Do you like puzzles? I do and used to really enjoy setting up the card table and working on a massive puzzle over the course of several days. We have quite a few puzzles for Brighton to help her learn spatial reasoning, patience, and motor skills. Puzzles can be frustrating, though, and especially so for a toddler.

Sometimes a piece seems out of place, and the bigger picture feels impossible to see. Life can feel the same way—moments of confusion, loss, or unanswered questions can leave us wondering how it all fits together. Romans 8:28 reminds us that God is the ultimate puzzle-master. Even when pieces of our lives don’t make sense, He is working them together for a good and meaningful purpose. The picture may be unclear now, but God sees the whole design and knows every piece matters.

On National Puzzle Day, know that you can trust God with the pieces you can’t place, and the big picture that might be eluding you. Place them in His hands knowing He knows just what to do because He sees the big picture that all the edges, corners, and holes can cause us to miss.
