That One Name is Jesus // Zechariah 14:9

Who or what rules over you? We all have a throne in our heart occupied by someone or something. Today’s verse tells us the time will come when the Lord will be King over the whole earth, uniting us all under one name. We now know that name as Jesus, which means, “Yahweh saves.” This is put plainly in Philippians 2:9-11 as the Apostle Paul taught about Jesus: “Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Thank you, Jesus…amen!
