A Happy Home // 1 Corinthians 3:16

Have you heard the quote, “A home should be clean enough to be healthy and messy enough to be happy”? After having another toddler living with us a couple weeks, I remember how true it is! The Bible teaches that God comes to live within us in the person of the Holy Spirit when we accept Jesus as Lord of our lives. All too often we behave as though we believe God wants us to clean up our act before coming to Him, but Jesus says, come to me and we’ll clean it up together. He wants your Temple to be happy in God and He will do the work of the Great Physician and Wonderful Counselor once we do.
