Stay Zesty // Colossians 4:6

Today’s verse is a great one to help us think about sharing the zestiness of the Christian faith. The Apostle Paul wrote about seasoning our conversations with salt as a way of faith sharing. It’s a great analogy, because of the versatility of salt. Salt preserves. Salt has a unique flavor unto itself, while also enhancing the flavor of the food to which it’s applied. So if you take those independent uses and roll them together in your faith life, your words can help preserve our decaying world by enhancing everyday conversations with unique ideas and insights. Staying zesty for Jesus is a great way to help others see that God is real, loves us all, and has a purpose for each and every life. How will you stay zesty today, my friend?
