Show Up & Speak Up // Matthew 10:20

Jesus spoke the words in today’s verse as He sent His disciples out to proclaim the good news, warning them that opposition and persecution would come. In the face of any fear they might have felt, He offered this powerful assurance: they would never stand alone! When the moment came the Holy Spirit would put them in the right place, give them the right words, and empower them to speak at the right time. That same promise holds true for us today. Whether we’re sharing our faith, offering comfort, or standing for truth, God’s Spirit equips us with both courage and clarity. We don’t have to rely on perfect phrasing, only on our perfect God who speaks through willing hearts. When you face a moment that feels too hard or scary to speak, how can you trust the Holy Spirit to give you the courage and words that reveal God’s heart? Trust the Lord to show up as He leads you to do so and speak courageously as He grants you the right words to say at just the right time!
