Set Your Heart // Colossians 3:1

Where is your heart? Ok, I’m sure you remember learning that as a young kid, so let’s think about it theologically. What is it that grabs your attention, dominates your thinking, and fills your conversations? Is it good? Is it grace filled? Is it godly? Today’s verse reminds us that those are the things that deserve our focus. There are many things seeking to distract and deter. Be careful. Proverbs 4:23 teaches that we must guard our heart because that’s where our life begins to flow. Let that energy be Spirit. Let it inspire you to worship and draw you to the truth. So, as we kick off today, know where your heart is and tune your ears to the recurring invitation to follow Jesus.
