Seek & Find // Jeremiah 29:13

Jeremiah 29:13 (NIV) | You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

Today’s verse calls us to consider how we seek God. The Lord told Jeremiah His people will find Him when they seek Him with their whole heart. That begs the question: have you ever sought God half-heartedly? What does that look like? Partial surrender. Trying to hold on to things of the world thinking that heaven’s glory cannot outshine them. Lack of trust. Those are all conditions of a sick or divided life. There’s some good news that comes to us in Jeremiah 29:14 where God promised we will find Him when we seek with all of our heart. All of this is part of God’s promised plan that He has a plan and a purpose for our lives…a plan not to harm us, but prosper us, and giving us a hope-filled future. I pray you will seek God today and see how He has been there all along just waiting to be found!
