Pure Joy? // James 1:2-3

Joy? Pure joy at that? In the face of troubles? How in the world?! Well, God’s plan is for us to seek His eternal face whenever we face our temporary troubles. Problems can seem so all consuming, but they aren’t. Looking for eternal strength amidst temporary struggles is the key for success. It’s a lot like weightlifting. Putting your muscles under stress might break down the fibers, but God designed us to be built up in the healing. The same is true for our faith. So, if you find yourself going through a tough time, remember times like these help the tough get going. With God’s help it isn’t just possible, but the plan.
