Attitude Check // Psalm 42:11

It’s common to feel a little “blue” this time of year. Maybe you miss a loved one with whom you used to celebrate the holidays. Maybe it’s just because the main Christmas Day is past and we’ll be back at it in the world a week from today. If you are feeling a little blue, maybe today’s verse is for you. The Psalmist asked why he was discouraged and sad. Then, he shifted his perspective from what was past to what is to come, committing to put his hope in the Lord God. As we get ready to embrace the day and a new year, make sure your hope is in God, along with your praises and prayers. Let’s get that new attitude started today, shall we?
