Prayer // Romans 12:12
This week we spent time exploring breath prayer as a means to instantly be drawn into God’s powerful presence. I want to close this week with a beautiful message from Romans 12:12, “Rejoice in your hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.” This is powerful advice when we look around and see all the trouble in the world. Faith does not make us immune, but it gives us the perspective to know in all things that God is real, God loves us, and God has a purpose for our lives. So, whatever it is that life throws your way today, rejoice in hope knowing that God’s way wins in the end; be patient in your troubles, because they will not endure forever; and stay in constant prayer. I know it’s hard to go about living life with your hands clasped, eyes closed, head bowed, so give breath prayers a try. Feel free to use any and all of the ones I shared this week. Monday and Friday’s breath prayers come from Scripture…Tuesday through Thursday are breath prayers that I developed through my own faith life. Whatever you do, though, pray…make it the posture by which you face every moment of every day. Why? Because when you do, you remember you face it all with God!
Keep breathing!
