Prayer, Attention, and Gratitude // Colossians 4:2

Here is a simple thought for your Saturday. The Apostle Paul instructed Jesus’ followers to be devoted to prayer, remaining watchful, and in a spirit of gratitude. This was specifically pertaining to ways to keep an eye out for those sensitive and seeking the Gospel of Jesus Christ — salvation that comes to us through the forgiveness of sin. I think this provides a potent posture for us to take as we approach our Thanksgiving holiday. May we be prayerfully thankful for God and all He has done, is doing, and promised to do for us while seeking opportunities to share that with others!
