Perspective Shift // Psalm 42:11

The question in today’s verse is one I ask myself when I get discouraged. Why indeed? God is the beginning, the end, and everything in between. He is all, has all, sees all, and accomplishes all. When I get down, it’s typically because I lose that perspective. I know I need a perspective shift and praise is just what our doctor — the Great Physician — ordered. Pray. Turn on some worship music. Read some Scripture. Listen to a sermon or other inspirational teaching. Put your focus back on God by putting your hope in Him as opposed to the idols that demand your attention.
