On Integrity // Luke 16:10

Let’s look at Luke 16:10 in its entirety: “If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you won’t be honest with greater responsibilities” (NLT). Jesus is speaking more about character than circumstance. Faithfulness and honesty point to integrity and how we live when no one else is watching. Once it’s easy enough to bend little rules, it gets easier to break bigger ones. Whether you’re dealing with thumbtacks or cheating on your taxes, that inner sense of what’s right will keep you on God’s path. So, remember Jesus’ words, keep your heart locked onto what’s right, and commit your life to living with faithfulness and honesty, because it fuels your integrity in the Lord.
