Who indeed? // Micah 7:18

Who indeed? 1 John 1:9 echoes this in the New Testament: “if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.” God doesn’t stay angry with us by showing us mercy. How? By forgetting our sin as we read in Jeremiah 31:34, “I will forgive their wickedness, and I will never again remember their sins.” God delights to show mercy, so let’s do as Hebrews 4:16 encourages, “let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most.”
