Love to Give // 1 John 4:11

1 John 4:11 | Dear Friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

John wrote a lot about love…how God loves us and how we should love one another. Perhaps one of the greatest examples of this is found in John’s gospel about how God so loved the world that He gave us Jesus for salvation. The model we find is that love calls us to live generously. God gave us Jesus out of love to be our hope for eternity. What is it you can express because of the love you experience from God? The example God gives is love calls us to give, and to give that which is most precious to us. May we commit to doing so for the Lord and the people God gives us to do life with.
