Love Endures // Psalm 100:5

We see many times in the Bible that God’s love endures forever. That’s a beautiful thought; especially when we see the junk in the world that makes us wonder if love has an expiration date. Other verses in the Scriptures tell us about how we’re blessed when we endure trials (James 1:12), because they strengthen our perseverance and build character. No fun, I know, but this teaches precisely what it is that endures in this life and the one to come: it’s love. We can endure trials because they’re temporary and we know it’s God’s love that endures forever. So, if you feel overwhelmed by your trials, know that they won’t endure forever, because they can’t…only God’s love can. May that be our focus as we enjoy today and every day with Christ!
