Learn from God // Isaiah 48:17

Please read today’s verse, then reread it: “I am the Lord your God, who teaches you for your benefit, who leads you in the way you should go.” The forces of chaos in our culture want to convince you that our Judeo-Christian heritage is outdated, bigoted, ignorant. It could not be any further from the truth; yet it gained traction when it comes to how God made us, why God made us, how we are to interact with God, how we are to relate to others, and the way sin complicates it all. If you find yourself confused when trying to balance the current thing of the day versus God’s timeless truth, please trust God. Remember 1 Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.” Now look at 2 Corinthians 11:33, “I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ.” So, please trust the pure purpose of God. The enemy wants to distort, deceive, distract, divide, and destroy. God teaches you for your benefit, which is to bring you into the perfect, whole, and united peace with Him in Christ. The devil confuses you for his own sake, hoping to build his hellish culture as large as possible before he’s banished forever. Don’t fall for it…learn from Christ, not the chaotic, cultural tools of the deceiver.
