Knowing and Doing, Believing and Behaving // Proverbs 9:10

Today’s verse is a great one for helping to understand how knowledge and wisdom are linked. Knowledge is what you know, while wisdom is knowing what to do with what you know. The old adage is knowing that a tomato is a fruit, and wisdom is knowing not to put it in a fruit salad. Knowing that God is holy, awesome, and mighty is one thing, but wisdom calls us to live differently as a result. When we have those thoughts in our minds, and begin to behave accordingly, we will find understanding and/or peace to know that whatever it is we face, we never face it alone!
