“Just Do It” // James 4:17

How do you read today’s verse? It is one that has convicted me in the past. It is a sin to know what you need to do and not do it. Ouch. This points to the need for obedience. Obedience is a key part of faith. It’s knowing that God’s way is best. So why are we disobedient? Could be fear, laziness, stubbornness, etc. Have you sensed God calling you to something? Have you put it off for any length of time? Don’t let guilt keep you from doing what you need to do. And whatever you need to do, do it to the fullest. Partial obedience is still disobedience. So in the words of the famous Nike ad campaign, “Just Do It!”
