God’s Accomplishing Word // Isaiah 55:11

God promised that His Word will not return empty once He speaks. We see this in Genesis 1 when God spoke the entire creation into existence. Then, John 1 shows us that Jesus is the very Word of God in the flesh that came to illuminate our worldly darkness with eternal life. As vast as all this is, God’s Word is designed to penetrate your soul, change your life, and lead you to heaven (see Hebrews 4:12). This is God’s purpose as He moves closer to sending Jesus back and bringing us all home. So, look for God’s desires and know you are part of what God longs to accomplish. May this reveal where you need help and hope so you may receive God’s accomplishing purpose and be part of making Him known to others.
