International Thank You Day // Psalm 100:5

It’s International Thank You Day! For whom and what are you thankful? I remember a Sunday several years back where a friend went to the altar for prayer. I went and prayed with him for a few moments, and once we were done, he stood up, hugged me, and said, “Nothing’s wrong, I just don’t thank God enough.” That really stuck with me in light of today’s verse which gives us the idea that “thank you” is the password into God’s presence. Gratitude is a deep spiritual value, because it calls us to see beyond ourselves and look to others for the qualities they add to life. So, with whom will you share your gratitude today? Make sure that you include God!
