In Step // Jude 1:21

I love today’s verse! We all need to be reminded to keep in step with God’s love. Sometimes those steps call us to slow down and other times to move more quickly. Regardless of the speed, we are to make sure we go the same direction. This really pops off the page when we read the next two verses; check them out: “ And you must show mercy to those whose faith is wavering. Rescue others by snatching them from the flames of judgment. Show mercy to still others, but do so with great caution, hating the sins that contaminate their lives” (Jude 22-23). This speaks to those who doubt, those who feel the shame of judgment, those who are broken, and those contaminated with sin. Does anything strike you there? It refers to all of us doesn’t it? Every. Single. One. I hope you will find ways today to stay in step with God’s love. Do so for those who are in every stage of life and it’s calamities. Staying in step with God’s love will change a life, beginning with your own. Believe it!
