In Good Company // Philippians 1:6

I am looking at a book on my shelf that I was so excited to receive. I planned to dig in and devour it, but I started and set it down due to some distraction — I don’t even remember what it was. The book seems to be taunting me. Just started. Unfinished. Still desiring to be read.

Today’s Bible verse might cause you to think of your own life like a started, yet unfinished book, or some other project. It might seem to be taunting you, with a daunting sense of what’s next? The good news is that when you give your life to God, He promises to see you through to your completion. Yes, progress might seem nonexistent at times, but the Lord wants you to trust Him to see you through to completion.

Have you placed your life in God’s holy hands? Do you trust Jesus to save you from your sin? What about the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and direct you where you need to be. Sure, there might be stops, starts, and stumbles along the way, but in God’s divine care, you are always in good company.
