I Want To Know What Love Is

1 John 3:16

I remember when Foreigner released their song, “I Want to Know What Love Is,” in 1984. I wonder if they read this verse, “We know what love is because Christ gave His life for us. We should give our lives for our brothers” (1 John 3:16). Love is about service, sacrifice, lifting up others. It’s more about what you can give, not what you can get. God might not ask you to lay down your life for someone today, but what about your distractions or preoccupations? What can you give up today to show someone their worth? Jesus gave it all for you so you can know what it means to truly live. Let’s live for Jesus and other today. How ‘bout it? Let’s go!
