Hemmed in with Him // Psalm 23:6

I LOVE Psalm 23! It speaks to much to me about life and living with God. We see that there are times when we face difficulties and there are times when God leads us to rest. The beautiful truth exhibited in this Psalm is how God is with us in good times and bad. We see elsewhere in Psalm 23 that God is with us carrying a rod and a staff. The rod is to fright off predators and the staff is to protect us from our own wayward wandering. This means that God essentially hems us in with a bubble of divine protection to ensure that He is with always us! How do you need to know of this goodness and mercy today? Where do you need to know God is fighting your battles? How can you find assurance that God is also seeking to protect you from yourself? That goodness and mercy will change your life if you let it.
