Happy Easter! // Luke 24:5

Today’s verse comes from the Gospel of Luke’s account of Jesus’ resurrection. The women who went to Jesus’ borrowed tomb found the stone rolled away and were greeted by two men who asked this question: why do you look for the living among the dead? Wow, what a greeting! Jesus was alive then just as He is today. Today is well known for baskets, special goodies, family time, and new outfits. What I pray you will seek today in the land of the living is God’s gift of eternal life, the goodness of our Risen Lord, the joy of God’s Forever Family, and your new outfit of love. As the good book says, make love your all purpose garment as you celebrate Jesus and the life change He longs to bring to you. Happy Easter, my friends. He is Risen…He is Risen indeed!
