God’s Love or Your Laurels? // Matthew 21:43

Jesus spoke the words in today’s verse to the religious leaders who were for more tied to their titles than obedience to God. Jesus warned them the Kingdom of God’s isn’t about rituals or status, but righteousness and sacrifice. God is looking for us to commit to faithful and humble living, resting in His love as opposed to your laurels. Do you have any places where you might be guilty of coasting? Consider them and decide to live with, in, and for the Lord.
