God’s Glorious Riches // Ephesians 3:16

Here is a simple reflection for your Saturday. What comes to mind when you think of glorious riches? For me, it might be something to display — like jewelry or fine clothing — or a place to go — like a vacation home, mansion, or luxury car. For Paul, he connected the glorious riches of God to life in our inner being. In other words, the riches of God’s glorious presence aren’t anything to show off, but to retreat into in prayer, centering the self on how God is real, loves us, and has a purpose for our lives. This isn’t anything to show off; rather, it’s for us to use our lives to point people to Jesus and show them His way!
