God is Writing a Most Beautiful Story with your Life // Philippians 1:6

Philippians 1:6 (NLT) | “And I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.”

Yesterday we looked at judging our steps and being patient with God as He helps us grow to be more like Jesus. The bumps and bruises we get along the way might cause us to think we’re on the wrong path or doing the wrong thing. If you are walking with the Lord, keep following (Colossians 2:6)! Jesus has this holy knack of taking your biggest messes and helping transform them into God’s most powerful message of patience, perseverance, and purpose. You never know how God is weaving together the various points and plots to tell a story that not only gives your life meaning, but also brings glory to the Lord. So, be certain that as God is working on the chapters of your story, He isn’t done working in you. That faith and knowledge can give you the hope needed to live for Him with the eternal assurance of His saving love. Dear Lord, may it be.
