God is Patient with You // 2 Peter 3:9
Here is a simple thought for this Saturday: God is patient with you. This is a phrase from the broader verse about how God is not slow in keeping His promise about returning. Peter aimed to remind people who might be getting impatient that God is patient, and was with everyone single one of us in our own waywardness. Peter wants everyone to extend the same patience experienced. This is true for us interpersonally with others and the Lord. So, is God pointing out to you some areas where you are guilty of being impatient? If so, how can you work on your own patience today, being mindful of the patience from which you are — or already have — benefitted?
