Gathered for Jesus // Matthew 23:37

Jesus’ words as recorded in today’s verse are known as a lament. He was expressing the pain He felt of rejection and promise He longed to give of protection. The best news is He extended that promise to all who believe in Him. Now, when we accept Jesus and place our faith in Him, He gathers us under His wings like a mother hen does her chicks. Jesus as the hen is willing to die to save her babies, Jesus did die to save you and me, His children. So, will you place your faith in Him today? Let Him gather and protect you now and forever!
