From Weak to Strong // Romans 8:26

I love today’s verse! We read in Romans 8:26 that the Spirit helps us in our weakness. The context is important, too, because of what else we see in today’s verse: “We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.” When you feel so weak and weary that all you can do is moan and groan, the Spirit takes those sounds and translates them into a prayer for Father. So, if the best you can do is sigh, know they are being lifted high to the heart of God. Then, God’s power comes into our weaknesses, covers them, and infuses us with God’s power, transforming us and the things over which we worry (2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
