For Black Friday // John 8:32

In John 8:32, Jesus says, “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” These words remind us that true freedom isn’t found in possessions or promotions—it’s found in knowing and living by God’s truth. Now that Thanksgiving 2025 is in our rearview, we must remember to keep our lives centered on gratitude and the eternal gifts we’ve received, even as the culture tempts us to chase the fleeting deals and material gain of Black Friday. The truth of Thanksgiving is not about what we can buy, but about recognizing what we’ve already been given. How can you keep the truth of God’s goodness alive in your heart this season, even when the world tries to distract you with temporary treasures? I pray that will help illuminate this Black Friday with the eternal light of Jesus Christ, truth personified now and forever!
