Fight the Good Fight // 2 Timothy 4:7

In this powerful declaration, Paul reflects on a life well-lived in service to God. He compares his journey to a fight, a race, and a steadfast commitment to faith. As followers of Christ, we are also in the midst of a spiritual battle, facing challenges and obstacles that test our resolve. But like Paul, we are called to persevere…fighting with courage, running with endurance, and remaining faithful to the end. When we stand before God, we want to be able to say, “I’ve fought the good fight; I’ve finished the race.” May this verse inspire us to finish our course with the same faithfulness and focus that Paul displayed. That is when we will hear words I long to be spoken over me: “Well done my good and faithful servant” (Matthew 25:23).
