Consider and Commit // 2 Corinthians 9:6

Have you ever noticed how the seeds you sow at the start of something often shape everything that follows? What seeds did you sow at the beginning of 2025 that either flourished or floundered? Saint Paul wrote to the Corinthian church about generosity, reminding them that “whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.” Though he speaks about giving, the principle reaches far wider — what we plant in our hearts and habits determines what we will harvest. As we approach a new year, this truth invites us to step forward with intentional hope. If we plant trust, prayer, gratitude, and faith-filled obedience, we can look ahead expecting God to bring growth in ways we cannot yet see. I pray you will choose at least one “seed” you want to sow as we approach 2026 whether it’s an attitude, a habit, or a spiritual practice. Consider what kind of harvest do you want to see God grow in your life this coming year, and what seeds will you need to plant now to make room for that growth? Commit to nurturing it consistently and see what God does in your life!
